Jack Richardson LCSW, DCSW, SAP is the Program and Clinical Director of TownsendARC utilizing his 30 years experience in substance abuse and mental health counseling working with the people of Tallahassee and the surrounding area.  Mr. Richardson has worked in substance abuse treatment at both of the local hospitals.  He worked as the Family Program Director at The Addiction Recovery Center at Tallahassee Community Hospital, and as Program Director at the Chemical Dependency Program at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.  He has been in private practice and has worked with community mental health.

Debbie Jenkins is currently helping out in the Office Manager role at TownsendARC and has a vast background in Office Management and Customer Relations.  Debbie is a proven veteran and offers dedicated and caring help for people requesting information and access to services.

Lucile S. Palmer LCSW has been a respected clinician in Tallahassee for a number of years and is currently dividing her time between work at Hospice and private practice at TownsendARC.  Ms. Palmer has vast experience dealing with a variety of mental health issues.

Barb Kavanagh RN LCSW operated the Addiction Recovery Center as an outpatient program for a number of years.  She started with the Addiction Recovery Center as a Nurse at the Tallahassee Community Hospital and continued with Dr. Menduni for over 15 years working in the mental health and addictions field.  Ms Kavanagh is a well known and respected.

Bret Ogelsby, an MSW Registered Intern at TownsendARC has 6 years experience in substance abuse and mental health counseling and treatment.  Bret brings an interesting prespective to TownsendARC and offers creative insights to our group work. Bret provides oversight and guidance to the TownsendARC AfterCare Program the meets on Monday Evenings at 6:00 pm

Dr. Troup Ph.D-og is currently the acting Pet Therapy Director at TownsendARC.  He is both an excellent clinician and actively recruits volunteers at the Tom Brown Dog Park.  In addition to his clinical and recruiting duties he also teaches one of our assertiveness classes entitled "I have a Bone to Pick with You". Prior to his clinical work, Dr. Troup had extensive experience in the Carnival Industry working as a Barker.
